By accessing or using glot.it (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
glot.it is a Thai language learning platform available as a web application and mobile app. The Service provides structured lessons, AI-powered conversation practice, vocabulary tools, podcasts, music lyrics, grammar guides, and other educational features.
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
Core features of glot.it are free. Premium features may require a subscription ("Pro"). Subscription terms, pricing, and billing are managed through Stripe (web) or your device's app store (iOS/Android via RevenueCat). Refund policies follow the respective platform's guidelines.
You agree not to:
Users may share word sets and vocabulary collections. You retain ownership of content you create but grant glot.it a licence to host and display it within the Service. We may remove content that violates these terms.
Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate content such as conversation responses, mnemonics, translations, and images. AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes and may occasionally contain errors. It should not be relied upon as a sole reference.
The Service, including its design, code, content, and brand, is owned by glot.it and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
We work to keep the Service running and its content accurate, but we can't promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that every piece of content is correct. What we are responsible for when something goes wrong is set out in section 10.
If we harm you on purpose or through gross negligence, we are fully liable under the law. If we harm you through ordinary negligence, we are liable only for the direct and ordinary damage it causes, up to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the harm happened or ¥10,000. This limit never applies to death or personal injury.
We may change these terms when the Service or the law changes. Before a change takes effect, we post the new terms on this page with the date it takes effect. We tell you about significant changes in the app or by email.

glot.it is run by kensaurus LLC (kensaurus合同会社) in Tokyo, Japan. Japanese law governs these terms. If there is a dispute, the Tokyo District Court hears it first. If you use glot.it as a consumer, this doesn't take away the protection the law of the country where you live gives you, or your right to bring a claim in a court there or in any other court the law lets you use. Before going to court, please email us. Most problems are easier to fix that way.
