QuickstartLovable, Claude Code, Cursor

Ask Lovable why it broke

A user says your app is broken. Ask Lovable “what did my users report?” and it reads Mushi’s diagnosis of each report, gets the fix prompt and fixes the code. The same connection works in Claude Code and Cursor.

You need a Mushi project that receives reports. A Lovable app gets the reporting widget from one script tag. No real report yet? Step 4 files a test one.

Add Mushi to Lovable

Custom MCP servers are available on every Lovable plan (Lovable docs ).

Open the custom MCP form

In Lovable, open Connectors , select Add custom at the top right, and choose MCP server.

If MCP server is greyed out, a workspace admin has turned off custom MCP servers. Ask them to turn on Custom MCP under Connectors → Admin settings.

Fill in the form

FieldValue
Server nameMushi
Connection (shown only on some workspaces)Direct connection
Server URLhttps://kensaur.us/mushi-mushi/hosted-mcp/?features=vibe
AuthenticationOAuth (the default)

Click Add & authorize.

Sign in and approve

A Mushi page opens. Sign in, choose which projects Lovable may see, and click Approve. You never copy a key: the sign-in creates one for this connection, and you can revoke it from the Mushi console at any time.

You’ll see: Mushi in your list of chat connectors in Lovable.

Ask Lovable

In a project chat, try:

Using the Mushi connector, what did my users report this week?
Get the Mushi fix context for the checkout report and fix it.
That's deployed. Mark the report fixed in Mushi and tell the reporter.

No reports yet? Ask for a test one. Mushi diagnoses it like a real user report:

Using Mushi, file a test report: "The Save button on the settings page does nothing."
You’ll see: the report, the likely cause in plain English and the files to change, then Lovable’s edit.

Lovable runs read-only tools without asking. Before a tool that changes something (mark fixed, reply to the reporter, file a report) it shows an approval card; choose Always allow to skip it next time.

Claude Code: one paste

claude mcp add --transport http mushi "https://kensaur.us/mushi-mushi/hosted-mcp/?features=vibe"

Then run /mcp in a session, pick mushi and sign in in your browser. Ask: “What did my users report in Mushi? Fix the top one.”

Cursor: one click

Add Mushi to Cursor (opens Cursor), or paste this into .cursor/mcp.json:

.cursor/mcp.json
{ "mcpServers": { "mushi": { "url": "https://kensaur.us/mushi-mushi/hosted-mcp/?features=vibe" } } }

Cursor asks you to sign in the first time the agent calls Mushi. Leave out any headers block: a static Authorization header turns the sign-in off.

Bolt

Bolt also accepts a custom MCP server under Connectors (MCP) → Custom MCP server (Bolt docs ). Use the same URL. We have not tested Mushi in Bolt yet.

What ?features=vibe gives you

?features=vibe keeps the connection to the 12 tools this loop needs. Without it the connection lists about 80. A chat assistant picks the right tool more often from a short list, and some clients, Cursor among them, warn once all their servers together pass about 40 tools.

ToolWhat it doesChanges anything?
triage_next_stepsWhat to fix firstNo
get_recent_reportsThe latest reports from your usersNo
search_reportsFind reports by words (“checkout”)No
get_report_detailOne report: what the user saw, logs, screenshot, diagnosisNo
get_fix_contextThe cause, the files to change and a ready fix promptNo
transition_statusMark a report fixed, or dismiss a duplicateYes
reply_to_reporterTell the user in your app that it’s fixedYes
file_reportFile a report yourself (or a test one)Yes
diagnose_setupWhy reports aren’t arriving, and the next stepNo
use_mushiWhich tool to use for a taskNo
search_mushi_docs / get_mushi_docAnswers from these docsNo

If you approved more than one app, the connection also lists list_projects and get_account_overview, so Lovable can find the app you mean.

Want more? Drop ?features=vibe for the default set (reports, fixes, app inventory, setup, docs), or use ?features=all for every tool. You can also combine them, for example ?features=vibe,qa.

Troubleshooting

ProblemFix
Sign-in fails with “404”Use the kensaur.us URL above. Sign-in does not work on a supabase.co URL.
”tool … is not enabled for this connection”The tool is outside vibe. Ask use_mushi which group it needs and add that group to ?features=, or use ?features=all.
Answers mix up your appsPin the connection to one app: add &project=<project-id> to the URL.
You can’t use OAuthChoose Bearer token or API key in Lovable and paste a Mushi API key with MCP access, minted in the Mushi console. Sign-in is safer: its key is made for this one connection.
You want to disconnectRemove the connector in Lovable, and revoke its key under MCP → Account keys in the Mushi console.
